Each member of our professional staff is highly-qualified to provide the best in care for our patients. All of our practitioners are certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. (ABC) or by the Board for Orthotist / Prosthetist Certification (BOC). Continuing education is mandatory for all professional staff members, and our entire professional staff and administrative staff must attend an annual company-sponsored training conference.
AAL&OS is a member of the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association and our Montgomery facility is certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics. Under the leadership of Glenn Crumpton, C.P.O., C.Ped., AAL&OS continues to be a leader in the art and science of prosthetics and orthotics in Alabama. | Betty Arnold Started with AAL&OS in 2001 |  | Prior to coming to AAL&OS, Betty spent eight years as Rental Manager and Bookkeeper for Radio Hospital. This made her an ideal fit for coding and billing in our orthopedic, mastectomy and lymphedema departments. As Billing Manager, Betty deals first hand with insurance companies, receiving authorizations and keeping up to date with billing and coding changes. Betty and her husband Rocky have two children, Meagan and Justin and a son-in-law, Travis. They attend Landmark Church. Betty’s other interests include spending time with her family, reading, gardening, and crossword puzzles. | TOP | | Jackie Bargeron Started with AAL&OS in 2008 |  | Jackie came to AAL&OS after working for 20 years at National Car Rental. As Business Manager at AAL&OS, Jackie handles all the accounting functions including payroll, payables, and financial statements for the office. Jackie, originally from Texas, moved to Prattville via the military 23 years ago. Jackie has two children and three grandchildren. In her free time, Jackie enjoys gardening, cookouts, reading, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. | Top | | Laurie Borders Started With AAL&OS in 2009 |  | Laurie came to AAL&OS after working as an Executive Assistant at The Colonial Bancgroup, Inc. Laurie is the Office Administrator in our Opelika office and we are thrilled to have her as part of Team AAL&OS. Prior to working at AAL&OS Laurie was an educator. She taught AP Psychology to high school students in Birmingham, AL. Laurie received a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Auburn University and a Masters in Education from UAB. Laurie grew up in Trussville, AL and now resides in Auburn. She enjoys family, traveling, and all things Auburn. War Eagle!!!! | TOP | | Elizabeth Burt Started with AAL&OS in 2008 | | | Elizabeth came to AAL&OS after she sold her car rental business which she owned and operated for nine years. She offers AAL&OS over 13 years experience in operating a small business. A position that initially started out to be temporary has emerged into a permanent position as General Manager. As General Manager, she takes care of the day to day operation of the business. Elizabeth, a native of Montgomery, married her high school sweetheart, Lee Burt. Together, they have a son, Jack and a daughter, Sara Turner. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, especially at the lake, walking with Sara Turner, and watching Jack play football. | TOP | | Barbara Crumpton Started with AAL&OS in 1963 |  | Without Barbara Crumpton's devotion, there would be no Alabama Artificial Limb & Orthopedic Service, Inc. today. As one of the original employees of the parent company, Barbara started out as an administrative assistant and jumped into action when called upon to provide patient care. Her nearly forty years of work for AAL&OS has included caring for numerous people, and she still enjoys keeping in touch with her former patients. Currently Barbara spends her time away from the office caring for her many animals, gardening, and enjoying her granddaughter Jordan. Barbara also has a daughter named Jeanne, who is the wife of Keith Uuro, a staff prosthetist at AAL&OS. | TOP | | Glenn Crumpton, LPO, C. Ped Started with AAL&OS in 1990 |  | Glenn has spent his life in orthotics and prosthetics and is active in advocacy for the physically challenged. As a third generation prosthetist/orthotist, he has had the opportunity to witness the dramatic changes and advances in the O&P world that allow for remarkable results never before possible, while maintaining a connection with traditional methods and techniques for those who desire it. Glenn’s time spent in graduate school for prosthetics and orthotics at Northwestern University in the late 1980’s and subsequent educational opportunities combined with over 30 years of experience in prosthetics and orthotics allow him to address the needs of his patients on many different levels to suit their needs and desires. Glenn’s family is a major part of his life and he enjoys many activities with his daughters; Jordan, Sara, and Emilee and his wife, Jennifer. Glenn is also a devoted Auburn Tigers and Atlanta Falcons football fan. | TOP | | Jennifer Crumpton Started with AAL&OS in 2006 |  | Jennifer started at AAL&OS after marrying Glenn Crumpton. She currently serves as event coordinator for company and community events. Jennifer also handles the day to day affairs of her husband, Glenn. A native of Montgomery, Jennifer has three daughters Sara, Emilee, and Jordan. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling, especially to the beach and lake. In addition to their two dogs and cats, Jennifer and her family just recently added a new family member to their clan, a puppy named Max, who serves as the office pet. | TOP | | Richard Deneve Started with AAL&OS in 2009 |  | Richard Deneve first came to AAL&OS as a prosthetic patient. Before joining Team AAL&OS Richard worked for Tractor & Equiptment Company in many different roles. Richard has jumped in with both feet and not only works as a Lab Technician, but is also a great resource for our other amputees. He can give them support and encouragement from the very beginning because he has been there. Richard has attended many of our Sports clinics and has become an avid runner. This is great motivation for our new patients. Richard enjoys spending time with his family which keeps him extremely busy. He has four boys ranging in age from 5 to 16. You can see Richard at many of our Community Events representing AAL&OS. | TOP | | Donna Hillman Started with AAL&OS in 2008 |  | Donna came to work for AAL&OS after 25 years in the car business. As Insurance Collections Specialist at AAL&OS, Donna works with all facets of insurance collections and customer service, including speaking directly with insurance companies, making sure all claims are processed correctly and efficiently, and handling financial and billing questions for clients. A native of Tallassee, Alabama, Donna now resides in Prattville. She and her husband Robert have a daughter, Courtney who is a senior at Prattville High School. In her spare time, Donna is a competitive bowler and enjoys playing poker and watching football. | TOP | | Glenn Latimer, CO Started with AAL&OS in 1970 |  | Since Glenn began working for AAL&OS in 1970, his name has become synonymous with orthotics in Montgomery. With so much experience in orthotics, he provides a tremendous amount of knowledge for the companys’ clients. Glenn earned a degree in science from Alabama Christian College and then continued his studies at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he completed the orthotic long-term course of study in 1980. He attends many professional continuing education courses throughout the country in order to keep up with the new developments in the orthotics profession. Glenn and his wife, Martha, have two children, Amy and Will. He enjoys camping, fishing, and boating with his family. | TOP | | Jamie Lord Started with AAL&OS in 2006 | | Jamie came to AAL&OS after studying nursing at Auburn University at Montgomery. As Orthotic Administrative Assistant, Jamie assists Glenn Latimer with anything he needs. This includes setting up clinics, scheduling patients, and corresponding with prescribing doctors. Jamie also works as a Licensed Ultrasonographer within the Baptist Hospital community. Originally, Jamie is from Biloxi, Mississippi. When she’s not assisting patients and visitors to our office, she likes to spend time with her husband, Brian, and their daughters Katlyn and Taylor. Jamie and her family are very active with the YMCA. Jamie enjoys Alabama football, darts, and watching her daughters play soccer and softball. | TOP | | Charles McCorvey Started with AAL&OS in 2002 |  | “Mac” as Charles likes to be called, is responsible for much of the hands-on production of AAL&OS’s prosthetic devices. Under the supervision of the certified practitioners on staff, he uses materials including plastic, metal, plaster, and hi-tech componentry to fabricate, adjust, and repair prosthetic devices for patients. Mac earned his certification as a Laboratory Technician through PDI in 2002. Prior to starting his career in the O&P profession, Mac was a supply sergeant in the U.S. Army, and worked as a chef in the culinary field. Mac and his wife, Gail, have a son named Ce-onta. When Mac is away from the lab, he likes to spend his time just relaxing and watching sports. | TOP | | Joey Oliver Started with AAL&OS in 2008 |  | A life-long friend of Glenn Crumpton, Joey came to work at AAL&OS in January 2008. Before coming to AAL&OS, Joey worked as an insurance adjuster. There are not many things Joey can not do with his hands. If we need it fixed or built Joey is on hand to provide help. Joey has two children, Collin and Kylie. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his kids, fishing in bass tournaments, and playing poker. | TOP | | Benjamin Percival Started with AAL&OS in 2008 |  | Ben started with AAL&OS in the summer of 2008, he came just as a summer worker while he attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Recently Ben has decided to pursue a career in prosthetics and orthotics. He is currently a lab technician and is responsible for the fabrication of many of our prosthetic legs. He has also completed most of his course work towards being a Certified Pedorthist and hopes to one day attend Northwestern University's Prosthetic school in Chicago. Ben currently attends Auburn University at Montgomery and is pursuing his bachelors degree in Biology. | TOP | | Rachael Saucer Started with AAL&OS in 2007 | | | Rachael came to AAL&OS via her mother who was initially the Mastectomy fitter. When Laura Saucer was deployed to Afghanistan, Rachael came in and took over all the mastectomy duties. She specializes in mastectomy products and compression garments. Rachael has a passion for her work and enjoys the interaction with the patients. To Rachael, seeing her patients overcome a disease like cancer is the most rewarding part of her position. Rachael, a native of Montgomery, graduated from the University of Alabama with a major in Biology and General Business. Rachael enjoys jogging, watching movies, road trips, and spending time at Lake Martin. Rachael is an all around exciting and fun person to work with and we are extremely fortunate to have her as a part of team AAL&OS. | TOP | | Cathy Sherman Started with AAL&OS in 1990 |  | Being the granddaughter of AAL&OS founder, Cathy was exposed to O&P work at an early age. After graduating from Southern Technical College in 1990, she came to work at AAL&OS as a receptionist. Now, as Prosthetic Billing Manager, Cathy deals with authorizations and claims billing. Her loyalty to the company is her driving force. Cathy enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew, as well as friends. She also enjoys listening to 80’s music, shopping on QVC, and going to movies. Cathy attends Landmark Church where she helps with 6th grade Sunday School. | TOP | | Dan Smoker, LPO Started with AAL&OS in 2000 |  | Dan’s work as a physical therapy assistant led him to the O&P profession. While attending clinic at Southern Orthopedic Surgeons, Dan became acquainted with Glenn Crumpton. Through this meeting, Dan decided to make a career for himself in prosthetics. Dan successfully completed the prosthetics program at Northwestern University in Chicago and earned his prosthetics certification in 2004. Dan continues to keep his LPTA license current and works, as needed, for Restore Therapy. Dan and his wife Tracey have three children, Presley, Winsley, and Drew. Dan is actively involved at Boone’s Chapel Baptist Church and CAST Ministries. In his free time, Dan enjoys participating in Civil War reenactments, hunting, fishing, and camping. | TOP | | Holly Thornton Started with AAL&OS in 2008 |  | Holly began as a temp at AAL&OS in early 2008. Her position in our Opelika office quickly became more permanent, with Holly attending several different training classes. She is now a certified Post Mastectomy and Compression fitter, as well as, an Orthotic fitter. Although she is new to the AAL&OS team, Holly was introduced to the O&P world in 1991, through her husband, Woody, who is an amputee. Together, they started a Christian Amputee Support Team Ministry (CAST). Holly and Woody keep busy with their six children: Candace, Payton, Shayla, Madison, Noah, & Matthew. Holly and her family live in Auburn and enjoy spending their time at school and church activities, working with CAST ministries, and going to Auburn sporting events. | TOP | | Keith Uuro, LP Started with AAL&OS in 1991 |  | Keith’s previous experience in construction provided him with many of the skills that he needed for prosthetic work. An eye for detail combined with common sense aided him in quickly picking up the techniques of O&P work. Keith became a registered prosthetic technician first, and then earned his certification in prosthetics in 2002. Since earning his certification, Keith has taken on a more active role in patient care. Keith and his wife, Jeanne, are avid NASCAR fans and enjoy riding horses in their spare time. Keith also enjoys riding his motorcycle and his tractor. Together, they also care for their pet horses, dogs, and birds. | TOP | | Jenny Wilsford Started with AAL&OS in 2009 | | Jenny began at AAL&OS in July of 2009. Jenny is a graduate of Auburn University with a bachelors degree in Communication. She is the Prosthetic Administrative Assistant that is responsible for scheduling patients and assisting the prosthetic team with whatever they need. Jenny also enjoys spending time with her niece Davis, family, and friends. Jenny likes to travel and one of her favorite places to go is on her family ski trip to Colorado every year. She also is a big Auburn Football fan and Boston Red Sox fan. | TOP | |
